Loris Hezemans back in NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2021

Following his 2019 Xfinity Series debut at Road America, Loris Hezemans will return to the series in 2021 with the Reaume Brothers Racing team. The 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champion will be race for two races in their #13 Chevrolet Camaro.

The deal includes two races, the first of which will be as early as next weekend (March 13) at the 1-mile oval of Phoenix Raceway. The second race will be at the 1.5-mile oval of Charlotte Motor Speedway which will be run on May 29, 2021.

The Reaume Brothers Racing team made their entrance into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2018. In June 2020, they took over the operations of the RSS Racing No. 93 and retained those duties for the remainder of the season. In 2021, the team compete in NASCAR Series with three of its own cars, two in the NCWTS and one in the NXS.

In addition to these two races, there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to expand the number of entries in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for 2021. All this with the goal of getting the approval of NASCAR to also compete in NASCAR’s top division: the NASCAR Cup Series!

“I am very excited to announce that I will be joining Reaume Brothers Racing for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Phoenix on March 13th. My number one priority for this race weekend is to bring the car home and gain as much experience as possible. Without any practice or qualifying the learning curve will be a big step but I am fully up for the challenge. With this experience in Phoenix I hope to continue to progress through the different size oval tracks throughout the year”.

Call 811 Before You Dig 200 presented by Arizona 811 at Phoenix Raceway will be run on Saturday, March 13. The green flag will be waved around 23:30 CET.
